The presentation will give an overview of the updated norm. It looks at the different performance characteristics of the three passive safe classifications and explains in detail how the different classifications are written. It will explain the mandatory requirements of the norm, the testing regime and the rationale behind the different performance types. It will give the audience a “checklist” for the basic information they need to begin the speciation process

Presenter – Ian McDonald, Pole Products

Ian has worked in the Street Lighting & ITS Industry since 2008 with Hydro & Dynniq and has played a significant role in broadening the knowledge of Passive Safety in the UK.
