Joining the IHE is easy using our new online application processJoin us now
Due to the unprecedented nature of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak, we have had to make some alterations to our Professional Review process over the next few weeks.
IHE staff will be on hand as usual (by email) to assist with any queries you may have about your application, to provide mentoring support, or to clarify any queries about your assessment portfolio. However, we ask you to refrain from sending us your completed application portfolio until the guidance on our website changes or we contact you. The London office of the IHE is closed and some disruptions to the national postal system have already been reported – we want to keep your information safe and secure, and at the present time the best way of achieving this is if you prepare your portfolio ready to send, but do not post it to us.
Due to the nature of the Professional Review process, many individuals have a role to play in the assessment of portfolio, from admin staff, assessors and Committees. As you can appreciate, a lot of this activity takes place face-to-face and the current situation places some restrictions on some of these activities.
We have procedures in place to ensure your application will be reviewed in a timely fashion as soon as travel restrictions are lifted. When the IHE in London re-opens please send your application to us as quickly as possible and we will advise you of the timescale involved in getting your application reviewed in a timely manner.
The IHE would like to thank you for bearing with us during this time. We want to assist you in achieving Professional Registration in a way that is simple, hassle-free and timely. At the same time we want to ensure your personal data and hard work are kept secure, ready to be assessed and your results issued as quickly as possible when the present national situation improves.
