An Academic-Professional partnership formalises an arrangement between the IHE and an Academic Partner to provide support, advice, and guidance on the membership of a professional Institute and to provide advice and assistance on the routes towards professional registration for students.
Academic-Professional Partnership agreements enable a closer working relationship between the IHE and Academic institutions in order to offer increased support and guidance for students studying Civil Engineering with a particular interest in Highways & Transportation.
The IHE is keen to develop working relationships with all Academic Institutions in order to support students throughout their education and onwards towards potential professional registration.
As a professional Institute the IHE is actively involved with a number of universities across the UK where we provide presentations and guidance regarding membership of an institution such as the IHE and also provide guidance and support on the various routes to professional registration, and we are keen to formalise these arrangements through this recently introduced scheme.
