Visitor registration opens for Traffex 2024 as it moves to the CBS Arena in Coventry

Visitor registration opens for Traffex 2024 as it moves to the CBS Arena in Coventry and co-locates with Parkex, Cold Comfort and brand-new event Evex for the first time…

Traffex, 22-23 May 2024, CBS Arena, Coventry

Visitor registration is now open for Traffex, the UK’s leading road maintenance, traffic management and road safety event, taking place on the 22-23 May 2024. Traffex moves to a brand-new venue this year – the CBS Arena in Coventry – and will be co-located with Parkex, Cold Comfort and the inaugural Evex event for the very first time.

Supported by National Highways, Traffex brings together local authorities, contractors and suppliers responsible for maintaining and managing the UK road network. From today, visitors can register for a free ticket at Traffex (The UK’s Leading Highways and Roads Tradeshow – Traffex 2024) which gives them access to all four shows located conveniently together under one roof.

Parkex is the flagship conference hosted by the British Parking Association and Cold Comfort leads the debate for the extreme weather service sector. Completing the line-up is Evex, a brand-new event this year for electric vehicle infrastructure. Evex has been launched to facilitate discussions between local authorities, National Highways and EV infrastructure contractors and suppliers.

“Traffex is an unmissable event for the industry to share best practice, expand their networks and source cutting edge products and services. This year we move to a bigger venue at the CBS Arena, and we have introduced two new shows and five new stages for visitors to enjoy,” said Gordon Kirk, Event Director.

“The co-location of Traffex, Parkex, Cold Comfort and Evex also provides a unique platform for visitors to explore the latest trends and innovations across all these industries in one visit under one roof. I am especially excited about the launch of Evex given incoming legislation to ban petrol and diesel cars by 2035 and the infrastructure changes needed to support that; the introduction of Evex is more important than ever.”

The conference programme is due to be announced shortly, with speakers at this year’s Traffex including leaders from National Highways, Department for Transport, councils, major contractors, transport infrastructure, AI traffic controlling, carbon reduction, asset management and connected vehicles
