The IHE can now award ICTTech

The Quality Assurance Committee of the Engineering Council has revised the IHE licence to allow the award of ICTTech to suitable candidates. This complements the recent arrangement with the British Computer Society and will allow individuals whose work involves a significant amount of IT application to achieve an Engineering Council registration.
IHE chief executive, Richard Hayes confirmed the decision, which will hopefully lead to more applications from roles such as AutoCAD technicians and traffic modellers who have struggled in the past to demonstrate some of the requirements of EngTech.
