Students star at Innovation Fest

Wednesday July 24, 2024

A recent Innovation Fest at Birmingham City University showcased the work of students’ ongoing research projects and facilities across the three colleges of computing, engineering and the built environment.

The event provided an excellent platform for interaction between the university and industry – Birmingham City University was delighted to have Gafoor Din from the IHE in a judging capacity for the student poster competition for their Level 4 Civil Engineering Design Module.

The organisers were also grateful for the sponsorship contribution received from the IHE towards the prizes given to the competition winners.

The poster competition gained high interest from invited industry visitors, sparked many interesting discussions between industry experts and their students and highlighted further areas of collaboration between Birmingham City University, the industry and the IHE.
