Re-establishing the Greater London Branch
- Tuesday October 18, 2022

We are very excited to establish a firm relationship with our academic partners at London South Bank University. This has provided the foundation to re-establish the Greater London Branch for our members. We will establish a programme of activity for 2023 that shares learning through meetings, seminars and hopefully establishing an annual conference. In addition we want to ensure we encourage our highway professionals of the future. The relationship with LBSU will enable students and graduates to engage with IHE as a professional institute and support all members on the professional pathway form EngTech to CEng accreditation.
The branch will establish an interim committee. As such we need your help.
Luke Meechan (Metis) and Dr Amer Ali (LBSU) will be interim Chair and Vice Chair respectively but we will need to fill a wide range of committee roles to be able to deliver a meaningful programme of activity. This support is voluntary but it is important we represent all facets of the industry. If you are interested drop us an email for a chat. If you have no IHE or committee experience that is no problem, we just need enthusiasm.
To get in touch drop us an email to Luke at greater_london@theihe.org with an outline of how you would like to help or any questions you have. It would be great to get an interim committee established by Christmas and events in the diary for early 2023.
