IHE and McTrans Center strengthen international collaboration

Tuesday November 19, 2024

This autumn, Steve Spender IHE CEO and Bob Aghdashi, director of the McTrans Center – one of IHE’s newly appointed Professional Development Partners – met face-to face for the first time, helping foster global collaboration and enhancing professional learning pathways.

The conversation focused on how both organisations can work together to leverage their combined expertise and deliver tangible benefits to highways and transportation professionals.

Mr Spender said: ‘It was fantastic to finally meet with one of our international partners in person. This partnership with the McTrans Center offers exciting potential for extending professional development opportunities to our members, both in the UK and globally. We are eager to see how we can take our collaboration to the next level by turning our shared vision into meaningful action.’

Mr Aghdashi echoed these sentiments, expressing his enthusiasm for the growing partnership between the IHE and the McTrans Center.
