‘Give a cone a cuddle’

The Institute of Highway Engineers is proud to be supporting the #giveaconeacuddle campaign, which is raising money to help Isla Duffy, who is the granddaughter of the very well-known and respected chairman of the Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) Martin Duffy.
Isla is a beautiful, bright young girl who was born with cerebral palsy and who needs to travel to the USA to undergo a stem cell transplant. A target of £25,000 has been set to help make this possible.
IHE President Martin Polland was pictured with the members of the IHE Council holding the cone purchased by the Institute as part of the campaign. He said: ‘It is really great to see our sector come together to support such as good cause to help one of the youngest members of our highway family.’
