Save the Date: IHE Mercia Branch Awards Evening 2027
The IHE Mercia Branch is delighted to announce the return of its Awards Evening in 2027, taking place on Thursday 10th June at the Macdonald Burlington Hotel, Birmingham.
The evening recognises achievement across the UK highways sector. While hosted in the Midlands, entries and sponsorship are welcomed from across the UK. Award nominations will cover a range of categories designed to reflect innovation, collaboration and delivery across the industry.
The evening promises a fantastic opportunity to:

- Reconnect with colleagues
- Expand your professional network
The event will provide an opportunity to celebrate success, reconnect with colleagues, and meet others working across the sector. Members of the IHE Presidential Team will be in attendance. A guest speaker will be confirmed in due course.
Richard Harman, Chair of the IHE Mercia Branch, said: “I am pleased that we are continuing the Awards Evening in 2027. The event has now been running for 12 years and has consistently provided an opportunity for the highways sector to come together in a relaxed setting to recognise achievement. It is encouraging to see the continued support from industry teams and partner organisations. Working with IHE HQ, we are focused on delivering a strong event in 2027. The event relies on the support of our industry partners, and we welcome expressions of interest from those who would like to be involved.”
