Supporting next gen engineers
- Thursday November 20, 2025
Earlier this year, Pryce Evans and Gafoor Din, representing the Institute of Highway Engineers (IHE), were delighted to be invited by the City of Wolverhampton to take part in a student event, held in collaboration with members of the Civil Engineering Industrial Advisory Board.
Mr Din commented: ‘We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the organisers for their warm welcome and for the opportunity to contribute to such a valuable initiative. It was a privilege to serve on the judging panel for both the Best Poster and Best Presentation categories.’
Congratulations were extended to all the students for their hard work, creativity, and professionalism. The standard of submissions was truly impressive and the IHE representatives were particularly pleased to recognise the achievements of all participants, with a special commendation to the two winning groups.
Events such as this play a vital role in bridging the gap between education and industry. The Institute looks forward to continuing its support for future initiatives that inspire and empower the next generation of civil engineers.
