IHE Traffic Signs Conference 2026

We are pleased to announce that the IHE flagship Traffic Signs Conference will take place on Tuesday, 24 March 2026, in Birmingham. Supported by the Department for Transport (DfT) and sponsored by Causeway, the theme for this year is ‘Signs of Progress’.

Widely recognised as the UK’s leading event dedicated to traffic signing, road markings, and wayfinding, the Traffic Signs Conference brings together local authorities, industry experts, contractors, and academics to share the latest developments, best practice, in highway engineering.

The 2026 conference will feature:

Expert speakers from government, local councils, and industry.
Case studies and technical sessions highlighting real-world applications of new traffic signing standards and technologies.
Panel discussions on the future of traffic management, digital signage, and sustainability in highway engineering.
Networking opportunities with key decision-makers, practitioners, and suppliers.
