EngineeringUK’s Big Bang Programme initiative is committed to demonstrating the vast opportunities within STEM careers to young people across the UK. Your contribution can significantly impact their futures.
The Big Bang UK Young Scientists and Engineers Fair – 17–19 June 2025, Birmingham
As a volunteer, you will engage with over 20,000 young people and their teachers, helping them discover the breadth of careers in STEM. Whether it is judging projects for The Big Bang Competition or supporting exhibitors, you will be part of the UK’s largest free STEM fair.
Big Bang at School Programme
Take the magic of the Big Bang directly into schools! This initiative connects volunteers with schools across the UK, particularly those unable to attend the main fair. You will inspire students in their own learning environment and highlight the amazing opportunities in STEM careers.
Why volunteer?
