IHE 51st Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Notice is hereby given that the 51st Annual General Meeting of the members of the Institute of Highway Engineers Limited will be held as a hybrid meeting via Teams and in person at the Stirling Highland Hotel, Spittal Street, Stirling, FK8 1DU at 3:15pm on Friday 21st June 2024.
Agenda
- To confirm and sign the minutes of the 50th Annual General Meeting held on 30 June 2023.
- To receive a verbal report of Council for the year 2023/4.
- To approve the Income and Expenditure Account and Balance Sheet for the year ended 31 December 2023 with the Auditor’s Report thereon.
- To appoint Magma Chartered Accountants as auditors until the conclusion of the next General Meeting, at which the accounts of the Institute are presented.
- To authorise the Council to fix the remuneration of the Auditors.
- A ballot has recently been carried out amongst members for eight vacancies due to existing members completing their terms of office. Thirteen members were nominated and the results of the ballot will be formally announced at the AGM.
- To note the officers for Council for the period of July 2024 – June 2025;

Junior Vice President – Rebecca Bollen,
Immediate Past President – Martin Polland - To note that the annual rate of subscription payable by members of the Institute as from 1 January 2025 will be as set following the application of the RPI rate as reported by the Government in September 2024.
