Submit your entry for Highways Awards 2025 Apprentice of the Year Award

The Highways Awards 2025 Apprentice of the Year category is proudly sponsored by the Institute of Highway Engineers (IHE).

The Apprentice of the Year Award is given to an individual working in the highways industry for the first time who has made a considerable contribution in the workplace. The winning individual will demonstrate exemplary commitment to achieving any personal challenges and will be proactive in progressing their career development. Candidates can be from a formal apprenticeship, a side step into a new area of work or new to the industry at any level.

As a valued member of the IHE, we encourage you to consider nominating deserving candidates for this year’s awards. Whether it’s recognising a colleague, a standout product, or an exceptional project within your organisation, now is the time to shine a spotlight on those who have gone above and beyond.

Please remember that while submitting nominations is free, finalists are required to attend the awards ceremony in September.
