Nominations open for IHE Council

Monday February 26, 2024

The following vacancies are available for IHE Council effective from the June 2024 AGM. Overall 8 seats are available:

7 Ordinary Members
1 Regional Member

Additionally we will be seeking one student member:

1 Student Member

Council meets three times per year. Members will also be allocated to a Portfolio Group with regular online meetings. Nominees will be expected to dedicate at least 5 days per year, three of which will be for attendance at Council meetings and two days per year supporting the IHE in attendance at national events such as exhibitions, conferences etc. You can find out more information on how the IHE is run by clicking here.

If you wish to be nominated please complete the appropriate form below and return to us before 5pm on Friday 29th March 2024.

If elected, members term of office will commence following the IHE AGM due to be held on Friday 21st June 2024.

Deadline Dates

Nominations open: Monday 26th February – 5pm, Friday 29th March 2024
Election process: Tuesday 2nd April – 5pm, Friday 26th April 2024

Successful candidates will be notified during week commencing 6th May and in accordance with our Memorandum and Articles these will be formally announced at the AGM on 21st June and published in Highways Magazine.
