Industry Event

TTF Annual Conference 2024

Dates Location Cost (ex VAT)
Tue 23 Apr 2024 - Thu 25 Apr 2024 Leonardo Hotel Hinckley Island, Leicestershire

Full Details

The Transport Technology Forum will hold its next Annual Conference on the 23-25 April at the Leonardo Hotel Hinckley Island in Leicestershire.
The event has grown significantly in popularity over the past few years and the organisers have chosen a larger location to be able to accommodate a greater number of local authority representatives and exhibitors than ever before.  The TTF, delivered by the Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) on behalf of the DfT, is able to offer fully-funded places for local authority representatives from across the UK, which not only makes it easier for them to attend, but also attracts more of the supply chain who are able to hold more discussions with more of their existing and potential customers.
“Having hosted conferences in Bristol, Liverpool and Leeds in recent years, we found we couldn’t find a city centre venue that fitted the numbers of people who want to attend,” explained LCRIG CEO Paula Claytonsmith.  “The Leonardo hotel is perfect – we have access to 240 on-site rooms, our biggest ever conference capacity and plenty of room for our exhibitors.  And it’s only a couple of miles from Hinckley railway station so people won’t have to drive to get there.”
As always, the conference will focus on how technology can help solve road transport challenges.  It will feature details of government priorities and policies, the funding landscape and share examples of best practice around digital solutions, cybersecurity and collaboration.  Delegates will also hear updates on the important work being carried out by the six TTF Working Groups.
