The IHE North Western Branch would like to invite you to a free CPD event on 10th September in Saint Helens.
Vehicle as a weapon attacks have swept across mainland Europe, America and beyond. Incidents such as the London Bridge attacks, Bastille Day in Nice and Stockholm have all placed security at the forefront of our minds. Local Authorities, Event Managers and consultants must now consider utilising hostile vehicle mitigation barriers to protect our crowded places and public realm.
Iain Moran – ATG Access, CTSA – Cheshire Constabulary and Chris Stevens – SIDOS, have kindly agreed to speak about the different aspects of securing our public open spaces:
- Why secure the Public Open Space
- Understanding the risk
- Permanent and temporary hostile vehicle mitigation solutions
- Workshop and panel discussions
How to book: E-Mail email@example.com to request a booking form.
In the event of oversubscription priority will be given to IHE members and their guests.
