Summary: A talk on the effects of noise, on how it is currently managed and how it will be managed in the future.

The cost to the UK economy for hearing loss is over £25 billion per year for what is largely a preventable injury. Hear how current methods are failing in this area and how a new paradigm is shifting focus from cure to prevention.

Bio of presenter:
Andy Ravenscroft has been involved in hearing protection and training for around 20 years, working for distribution and manufacturing companies such as Honeywell and currently Eave. He has close family effected by the issues hearing loss causes and his aim is to raise the profile of this safety taboo.
