The Southern Branch are hosting an online webinar on the 3rd June 2026 between 12.30-1.30pm BST.

The webinar will introduce Concrete Canvas® and Geosynthetic Cementitious Composite Mats (GCCMs) and Barriers (GCCBs), highlighting their development, composition, installation process, and applications within civil engineering.

The session outlines the main advantages of GCCMs, including rapid installation, reduced environmental impact, minimal equipment requirements, and consistent quality relative to traditional sprayed or poured concrete.

Case studies demonstrate successful use in slope and channel protection, bund lining, culvert lining, and remediation projects where access constraints, schedule limitations, or difficult terrain made conventional concrete impractical.

Presenter: Warren Glover
