The IHE Mercia Branch committee would like to invite you to their virtual CPD event that will be delivered by Sunil Budhdeo, Transport Innovation Manager for Coventry City Council.
The CPD will focus on how the UK aviation sector can reach net zero by 2050, as part of the government’s wider commitment to reducing UK emissions, in line with the Paris Agreement.
This CPD aims to highlight some of the challenges associated with UK airport infrastructure in realising the net zero objective for aviation based on recent assessments such as the Urban – Air Port in Coventry UK, and what new technologies and skills will need to be developed to meet these challenges. In addition, the CPD will aim to draw from other geographical regions, where these challenges are being addressed.
