The IHE Greater London Branch would like to invite you to their next in person CPD evening on Thursday 5th October.
Transport for London is on a Carbon Management journey with the aims of embedding carbon into decision-making and put carbon management skills in the hands of delivery teams. PAS2080:2023 Carbon Management in Buildings and Infrastructure sets out a framework for Carbon Management for Clients, Designers and Suppliers to follow, and there is huge traction across the supply chain in the infrastructure sector to adopt the guidance.
This talk will explain what PAS2080 means and TfL’s journey to PAS2080 compliance, including how the organisation is integrating carbon impacts into risk management, conducting whole life carbon assessments, designing carbon training courses, and decarbonising strategic materials.
Presenter Details
Jane Wright is a Systems Engineer leading the development of Carbon Management Tools, Training and Processes in Transport for London’s Engineering Directorate. She sits on the Institute of Civil Engineers Decarbonisation Community Advisory Board and was named one of the Women’s Engineering Society’s Top 50 Women in Engineering in 2022.
