We live in a world and age when accountability for actions is foremost in people’s minds with recourse to litigation (criminal or civil) being more readily pursued than ever before. Highway Engineers are not exempt and whether one holds a junior or managerial position within a company or highway authority, the opportunity is there for being held individually accountable for a decision made or design agreed at any time during the process of managing the highway infrastructure.
We have gathered eminent speakers and experts in their field to discuss ‘LITIGATION & LIABILITY’ – including Gerard Forlin QC (a global expert) and Dr Jim Golby addressing Work Related Road Risk together with the Management of Operational Highway works and other aspects that require the highway engineer to heed the requirements set down in law.
This seminar is relevant to all highway engineers and their managers, regardless of their seniority status, and others who might be implicated in the decision making process. A full day CPD seminar including programme, refreshments & buffet lunch.
Cost per delegate £55 with discounts for group bookings.
