Red Light Cameras???

    Our safety team are currently purchasing some red light camers for 7 signal sites.

    I have a number of concerns about these cameras and their instalation.

    1) The RLC company assures me they will work with AC LED lamps but cannot explain how. Having taken photos of out LED heads with apparently no lamps lit due to the AC frequency i am very interested in this. Simply setting the exposure long enough to gaurentee catching a cycle will lead to very blurred images of moving vehicles.

    2) The RLC company are importing an Austrailian product that has not yet achieved type aproval yet our safety team seem happy to purchase it on a promise alone.

    Has anyone else had any experience with red light cameras?
