Demand and Supply

It combines existing reports, statistics and membership information with the nationwide survey that was undertaken as part of the study, the report gives an indication of demand and supply trends within the engineering, technical and planning (ETP) professions.

Fair Access/ Diversity

  • A Report of the Equality and Human Rights Commission
    The Report into Race Discrimination in the Construction Industry published on 31 July 2009 at www.equalityhumanrights.com, highlights the persistence of the representation of non-white ethnic minority workers in the Industry, despite causes and potential solutions having been identified at least 10 years ago. It identifies that this poses challenges both for the Industry and the Commission. The Report also points out that significant examples of good practice exist in the Industry and that positive steps are being taken to tackle under-representation.
