Continuing Professional Development
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is the process that enables YOU to stay ahead in your profession. The key is to be systematic. By taking a structured approach you will be demonstrating an active commitment to your industry and profession through addressing your own individual needs.
The following information on planning your professional development is also available in the IHIE publication, Moving Ahead.
IHIE members are obliged to undertake five days a year of structured development to maintain their techinical and professional competence and suport the development of others. The Engineering Council requires IHIE to monitor our members' competence and we do this by sending a questionnaire each year to a annual random sample of members.
Email deputy@ihie.org.uk for personal advice and support on fulfilling your training needs.
