A day of environmental enlightenment to help all concerned to find out about the NERC (Natural England and Rural Communities) Act.
Do you know what you are responsible for in terms of environment when you work on the highway? Did you know that you can be fined under Section 55, 56, 57 and 100 of this Act?
NERC has been around for a few years and 'competant highways professionals' should know what it covers as there could be heavy fines if they destroy an environment, no matter how small.
