RTPI Development Management role

The RTPI development management network has teamed up with RTPI Cymru and the Planning Officers Society for Wales to provide regular continuing professional development events. Events will cover a wide variety and provide an opportunity to get together and exchange information, expertise and knowledge.

Welsh Transport Planning and Appraisal Guidance (WeITAG)

The Welsh Assembly Government now requires that major transport initiatives seeking government funding are appraised with this new guidance.

WeITAG enables practitioners to set transport objectives, plans, evaluate and monitor initiatives in accordance with the Wales Transport Strategy. Appraisal is centred around three main impact areas: economy, environment and society.

WeITAG is a live document and will be amended from time to time.
