IHE's Annual Traffic Sign Conference and Exhibition
130 delegates and 14 exhibitors attended IHE's annual Sign Conference and Exhibition in September. Thank you presentations were made to DfT's Brian Lyus and Roger Mackintosh.

IHE met DfT's traffic engineering team led by Spencer Palmer in September to exchange information and discuss where Institute members could assist the Department. Skills shortages and IHE's unique professional certificates were the main agenda items.

20 or more members are attending a training day on 11 June covering CEng, IEng and EngTech.
IHE Annual Dinner and National AGM
Join Council Members at the IHE dinner on Thursday, 21 June 2007 at the Quality Hotel, Wolverhampton. Tickets are £28 each for a 3-course meal plus coffee.

DfT has endorsed the IHE Professional Certificate in Traffic Sign Design which is still undergoing trials prior to launching this summer.

CDM 2007 Regulations came into force on 6 April 2007 with a revised ACoP and guidance for duty holders.
