Health and Safety Test

You need to pass a CSCS Managerial and Professional Health and Safety Test for PQPs.

The Health and Safety Test is a 60 minute multiple choice test on health and safety in construction. It is a screen based test and there are a maximum of 50 questions to answer, 30 of which can be in highways. You can do the test during the daytime, in the evening or on a Saturday.

You need to buy the book listing all questions and answers when you book a date. You are advised to read it thoroughly. You must purchase the specific Managerial and Professional material, either at the same time as you book your test (see below) or call 0870 600 4020 or go to www.healthandsafetytest.co.uk.

To book the test

Telephone 0870 600 4020 Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm to book or go online. Have your credit or debit card ready to pay for the test over the phone. Alternatively your employer can make a block booking for you and your colleagues. You will need your NI Number.

You will need

  • proof of IHE membership/EC Registration
  • photo ID
  • an employer declaration form
  • CPD records for 2 years verified by an IHE member (who will need their member number).

Costs

The test costs £17.50 and the card is £30.00. If you have to retake the test there's a charge every time.

iam looking to take the[ pqp]test,but i would like to get copies of cdr or book with question/ answers.
