One Tough Guy

Richard Fitter after two and a half hours of grueling assault courses and extreme weather completed the Tough Guy 2010 course . A true test to mental and physical pain, fear and endurance. View the photos!

"We spent a great deal of time either wading, swimming or fully-submerged in water. When we arrived in heavy snow the organisers were using sledge hammers to break the inch thick ice on the dozen or so ditches and lakes. The first hour and a half were an enjoyable but difficult cross-country assault course - the last hour was torture. It was so, so cold that when we finished we were shaking so much that it took 45 minutes to get changed."
