IHE Professional Certificate
The IHE Professional Certificate in Traffic Signal Control is endorsed by the ADEPT Traffic Signal Group, and is being used by TfL to independently certify the competence of its staff.
The Certificate is open to all - there are no academic entry pre-requisites - you don't need to be an IHE member.
Candidates submit a report of their experience and a portfolio of supporting documents in a choice drawn from a list of 40 competences.
The award is at 3 levels: Foundation, Practitioner and Expert.
The IHE Certificate Steering Committee includes representatives from local authorities, consultants, signals companies and the ADEPT TSG.
