UDL is a network organisation set up to help promote good urban design in London.

Urban Design Skills
A new specialist training provider offering urban design training. UDS has been set up by the directors of step DESIGN and Rob Cowan, joint author of the CABE/DCLG 'By Design') and of 'The Dictionary of Urbanism'. UDS training focuses on negotiating on design, how to win planning inquiries on design grounds, and how to make design policy work in the new planning system. They also deliver broader design awareness training for professionals, councillors and design champions.
