Range of IHE approval
IHE accredits short courses within its competence. IHE accreditation does not encompass craft, manual or operative training. It does cover provision for supervisors through to specialist practitioners and for higher management education and training for senior incorporated engineers. These might broadly be described as appropriate for NVQ levels 3 to 5.
IHE's technical expertise lies in highway, traffic and transportation engineering and allied fields, including: highway and drainage design, construction, site supervision and management, traffic control, traffic management and engineering, works, maintenance, road-based transportation planning, cycling, safety audit, road safety, accident reduction, relevant surveying, sustainable transportation and promotion, project administration and management.
