Accredited short courses

IHIE approves training providers and short courses of a day or more in construction/transportation.

Providers must have:

  • clearly defined objectives based on known client needs
  • a structured approach to effective evaluation
  • quality management procedures
  • monitoring systems.

Courses can use the words "IHIE approved CPD" on publicity and attendance certificates.

Range of IHE approval

IHE accredits short courses within its competence. IHE accreditation does not encompass craft, manual or operative training.
