Felixstowe Dock expansion Site Visit

Costain have been employed to reclaim over 3.2 million m3 of land to create an 35 Hectares of container yard and the quay front to the deepest quay in the UK.
The 2 year construction project is to provide 730m of new deepwater container quay. Works include: 1.5 million m3 of dredging; installing over 20,000 tonnes of steel tubular piles and laying over 18.5 million paving blocks.
