Buchanan Computing
Buchanan Computing is the UK's leading developer of GIS (computer mapping) for traffic and highway applications, and is also well known for its traffic sign design software and training services. Its products include SignPlot, SignLoad, ParkMap and AccsMap, each of which has become the market leader in its field.
SignPlot is the only software for UK traffic sign face design that avoids the cost and training overhead of a CAD system. Built into it is SignLoad, a structural design module for traffic signs that saves money and lives by using a highly detailed design method to permit more slender (and therefore more crash-friendly) sign supports to be used.
