Judith Walker - Secretary

Judith Walker.jpgI have been the Secretary of the Institute for some twenty years. My background is in science and administration. I spend quite a lot of time making sure that the incorporated voice is heard - at The Engineering Council, at CIC, at Edexcel (BTEC) and on the various NVQ/SVQ developments.
I was on the national working parties which revised the Engineering Council entry requirements, wrote the degree guidelines, revised the Edexcel HNC/HNDs and those which set up NVQs for our industry. I also sit on the Home Zone and Motorcycling Groups.

Like the other National Training Advisors, I am happy to visit companies and authorities to talk to managers and Engineers and technicians seeking Engineering Council registration.

Ring me for help on company training, IHE Guidelines, CSCS, short course accreditation, technical and professional policy issues.

I look after relations with the Construction Industry Council, PACTS, UDAL, LTT and Highways Magazine and produce the biennial Directory.
I also produce the monthly E-Bulletin and maintain the IHE Guidelines for Motorcycling website.

Please call me with any queries on whether your qualification is acceptable for registration with the Engineering Council. I can also help on CPD requirements for Professional Reviews, professional conduct and the technical report route to IEng and CEng.
Should you have any queries or questions please get in touch.

Cherrie Ouerghi - Admin Secretary

Cherrie Ouerghi.JPGThe Institute's Admin Secretary is PA to the Secretary and the first point of contact for callers to the Institute. It is my responsibility to ensure that the Institute is represented in a professional yet approachable manner.
I administer the 'Preparing you for Professional Review' courses introducing the review standards and procedures and the annual CPD monitoring survey.

Julie Clarke - Membership Assistant
