IHE Staff
Judith Walker - Secretary
I have been the Secretary of the Institute for some twenty years. My background is in science and administration. I spend quite a lot of time making sure that the incorporated voice is heard - at the Engineering Council, at CIC, at Edexcel (BTEC) and on the various NVQ/SVQ developments.
I was on the national working parties which revised the Engineering Council entry requirements, wrote the degree guidelines, revised the Edexcel HNC/HNDs and those which set up NVQs for our industry. I also sat on the Home Zone and Motorcycling Groups and assist with policy initiatives in development management, signs and maintenance.
Like the other National Training Advisors, I am happy to visit companies and authorities to talk to managers and Engineers and technicians seeking Engineering Council registration.
Ring me for help on company training, IHE Guidelines, CSCS, short course accreditation, technical and professional policy issues.
